When I'm feeling like listening to something dark, I particularly like the Mothman Prophecies soundtrack - both discs. The X-Files soundtrack is good too, although I don't have the whole thing in rotation right now - just the album cut of the show theme. The theme from Unsolved Mysteries is another good one. And there are nights when it's all Norah Jones, so it just depends on the mood. Mostly though, if you ride with me, I'm bumpin' Hawaiian jams by guys like the Opihi Pickers, 'Ale'a, Ka'au Crater Boys, Pure Heart, Typical Hawaiians, Weldon Kekauoha, and Willie K and singing along like I was part of the band. Oh, and I can't forget about those awesome exotica producers: Arthur Lyman, Les Baxter, Martin Denny, Robert Drasnin and Waitiki. Shaka, brah! That's just a few grains of sand on my private musical island. I keep a few thousand tracks handy. But then, doesn't everyone these days? 8-)

You know who's a good band to listen to while driving at night? Steely Dan. Songs like "Night by Night", "Hey Nineteen", and "Deacon Blues".

Emilie Autumn is also a good choice - dark, gothic sounds - she's like Emily The Strange come to life. 8-)
