The 2010 Hope International Film Festival opened with a packed house Saturday night, January 30, at Hope City Hall, Idaho. Former mayor Larry Keith greeted the filmmakers and moviegoers at the door while locals mingled over cookies and coffee from the concession stand. G-rated documentaries, slide shows and short films from The USA, Chile and Italy were on the evenings three hour agenda.

Organizer and filmmaker Bill Breen created the festival to benefit the Hope Cemetery with all donations going to beautify the grounds.
